Colorado Springs, December 16, 2008 — Insurance Technologies, LLC the leading provider of point-of-sale illustration software to the insurance and financial services industries, announced today a strategic alliance with VERTEX, Incorporated, a premier provider of professional services and innovative software to the insurance and financial services industries. This alliance supports continued go-to-market milestones for the recently launched VisibleChoice® multi-carrier annuity sales platform.

Insurance Technologies will leverage VERTEX’s VTXml Annuity Profile platform expertise for publishing and maintaining the standards-based annuity product information. VisibleChoice relies on product data to enable features from multiple annuity products to be compared and then illustrated for streamlined selling. Improved analysis and compliance processing coupled with on-demand product illustrations, results in accelerated suitable contract issuance for the selling organization.

VERTEX brings to the partnership expertise in modeling, publishing and maintaining standards-based annuity product information. Their VTXml Annuity Profile platform provides insurance carriers with a highly reliable, scalable annuity product repository, plus a versioning and publishing tool which transmits up-to-date annuity product data to Insurance Technologies in an efficient and automated fashion. Expert modeling and automated publication are important components for the rapid and cost effective deployment of the VisibleChoice multi-product comparison and selection solution for the Broker-Dealer community. Both companies utilize NAVA’s Product Profile for Annuities Transaction – an XML transaction based on ACORD’s data standards – and NAVA’s messaging standards.
